Strategic Study On Development Of A Gurantee Corporation

Current, the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) have become an important power to drive Chinese economic development and scientific innovation. But, SMEs have been facing some trouble in obtaining loan and fund, which has restricted seriously their development. Main reasons are that SMEs lack the support of credit guarantee system and Chinese financial development lags behind SMEs' development for long time. In order to alleviate the fund demand of private enterprises, A guarantee corporation has been established under the support and drive of the government. Under the environment of lower profit and higher risk in guarantee trade, we are confronted with how to develop guarantee business convenient to SMEs, how to expand new business realm, increasing its profit and realizing its sustainable development. It is of great importance for us to do its development strategy well.In order to make its development strategy, after reviewing theory and practice of strategic management at home and abroad, we choose the analysis method of SWOT as main study method of the thesis among numerous analysis methods of strategic management. First, we introduce the development of Chinese credit guarantee trade, and the basic condition of A guarantee corporation. Then, we make the detailed analysis on A guarantee corporation by the application of SWOT analysis method, such as macro-environment, trade environment, internal advantages and disadvantages of the corporation.We think that macro- environment that A guarantee company faces is good as a whole; its trade environment is better and development potential is big; the internal advantages of the corporation include sound corporate governance structure, good mechanism of using personnel, stronger capital advantage and management ability; the internal disadvantages are inconsistency of the target of shareholders and immature construction of the system. In addition, this thesis also introduces the condition of representative enterprises of the trade. We can draw lessons from their development strategies.This thesis finally makes primary strategic programming of A corporation, putting forward its strategy target, concrete development strategies, and short-term plan, middle and long-term plan, which will benefit to long-term stable development of A corporation.
