The Study On Improvement Of Information System Administration Of AB Securities Company

As the outer and inner environment of information system (IS) change, IS administration is facing new challenges. The reactive way of IS administration can no longer meet the management' s requirement. By enhance the control of IS and adjust the workflow,IS department can change its administration way from reactive to proactive, and then improve the administration level and meet the management' s requirement.The actual situation of IS administration of AB Securities Company is analyze in this thesis. And both the problems and their causes are scrutinized. Problems include IS not standardized, no strict control on IS, reactive management, document mismatch and personnel mismatch, etc. And the causes are analyzed and summarized using fishbone map. And by consulting the advanced IT management models, such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information & Related Technology (COBIT), it is obvious that IS management should aim at providing service to users and base on process management. A framework that covers configuration management, change management, release management, incident management and problem management should be built.A complete improvement plan is proposed including technique, workflow and personnel. Especially a framework of workflow is built using UC matrix and flow chart. And related technique criterion, database and personnel arrangement are also schemed.
