The Development Modes Of Modern Logistics On The Basis Of Electronic Business

With the improvement of social market economic system,modern logistics will play an important role in the development of economy by means of scientific management and technology. Meanwhile,it is also an important target to measure the comprehensive power of a nation and region. Thus economists call it "the third source of profit" apart from the reduction of substance consumption and increase of the production efficiency. Electronic business refers to a new form of business transaction based on Internet by combining electronic informational technology and business activities. Compared with the traditional business, electronic business has distinct characteristics and benefits. It forecasts a revolution in trade and it is changing the operational ways of economy and society. In traditional business activities,commodities have to be delivered to the consumer through many channels,which has caused unnecessary expenditure of many substances and the increase of the cost of commodity. In view of this,electronic business can shorten the supply channel for the purpose of saving substantial expenditure,which will bring up an implying benefit for the company. The fast development of electronic business has brought about the innovation in the transaction ways. The innovation can be reflected in the process of the circulations of the commodity,which leads to the reforms of the modes of circulations. With the reforms of the management systems of the company and the change of the market and the transferring from the industrial society to informational society,companies have been transferred from vertical integrated system direct control resources,into horizontal integrated economic system,namely taking advantage of the resources in other companies to achieve the goal of meeting the demand of the market quickly. For this purpose,the company must focus on the key business and distribute some non-nuclear business to other specified companies; as a result the third logistics company, which specializes in the service of logistics,will flourish. Based on the discussion of the fundamental theory and principles,related to the state of development of logistics in our country,the thesis explores the electronication of logistics in terms of operational system , operational procedure and designing of informational system under electronic business. Furthermore,the paper analyzes integrated system of logistics under electronic business,electronic business and logistics on the third party and the development of electronic business and logistics industry,paying more attention to the establishment of the modes of logistics under electronic business. Based on the analysis of the meaning of logistics, the relationship between electronic business and the development of the modern logistics under electronic business, the paper puts forward three development modes of modern logistics on the basis of electronic business: the logistics integrated operational mode,the third-party logistics mode and comprehensive logistics mode.
