In Lanzhou, the situation does not reach such severity yet, so choose the area as the research object to cause attention of government and research circle, probe out the solution and measure suitable for the actual conditions, going on the deep investigation to edge of four urban city in the course of urbanization producing, in Lanzhou city.This text regards four urban areas(Chengguan district,Qilihe district,Xigu district,Anning district) in Lanzhou as the studying area, Based on positive research, using living environment theory, sustainable development theory, the theory of integration of urban and rural areas, rural urbanization theory, etc. On the basis of analyzing the overview of Lanzhou and regional characteristic, going on the deep investigation to edge of four urban city in the course of urbanization producing, in Lanzhou city, combining urbanization process four urban cultivated area, urban construction area, agricultural population proportion, villager's economic structure change etc.,to have analyzed the area , reason,existing problem and influence to city development formed where this phenomenon takes place.Combining the positive research of the village in three kinds of typical cities, summarizing appearance characteristic, economic characteristic, people's characteristic, space characteristic, social characteristic of the village, etc in these three kinds of cities, from peasant's employment who lost territory, realize city sustainable development and optimize angle of living environment put forward the corresponding mode of transforming. Transform the village hi the city with the positive ecological view, keep some farmland in the city, develop agriculture of city type, and realize the ideal of the city of rural area partly.
