Study On The Coordinated Development Of City And Countryside In The Northwest Minority Areas

The whole social system consists of urban system and rural system , both of which have their characteristics and different functions ,the former stands for modern industry , the latter for traditional agriculture .The evolution of relation between city and countryside is a developing process of human society , i.e. .coordinated relation between city and countryside is not only the foundation of regional sustainable development , but the impetus of social development.At present, the government and academic circle focus on the problem: how to coordinate urban and rural development out of the increasing differences between city and countryside in our country . Our country has entered mid-term period of industrialization, i.e., industrial policy of our country should transfer from industry-centered to laying equal stress on industry and agriculture. Therefore, this is a key period for relation between city and countryside to transfer from separation to coordination.The research put the emphasis on the northwest minority areas because of its great gap between city and countryside. The author tried to give readers a rough sketch about the state of urban -rural development in the northwest minority areas through comparison and analysis, and aimed to find the inner reasons why the gap between city and countryside is so great. Further, the author, guided by scientific development concept, put forward to the avai table ways of coordinated development of city and countryside .
