Empirical Research On The Influencing Factors For The Dissemination Of Cultivation Techniques For "Shallow Water Lotus Root"

A new run of the strategic re-structuring of agricultural economy has been started for last years in the national-wide. Taking the current situation of the physical and technical level, resource endowment and too many surplus labors into account, the pattern of technology changes based on the intensified agricultural infrastructures and engineering works could not be adopted widely and the appropriate technologies with less investment, short leading-time and easiness for farmers to adopt should be greatly developed and disseminated. The thesis started with the analysis theoretically on the influencing factors on the extension of new crop varieties, followed by household interviews with questionnaires to obtain the empirical evidences, then made statistical analysis of the data obtained, and finally drew the research conclusions and proposed the recommendations. The recommendations including further strengthening the organizational and coordinating roles of the government, increase of assistance and inputs, speeding up the construction of whole-sale market, expansion of the processing enterprises' production scale, increase of the products' added value, further improvement of extension mechanism, full use of the communities and neighborhoods as the resources for the extension, and establish the enthusiastic client groups for the new technologies and skills.
