The Arguments On The Role Change Of Eastern Central Europe After The Cold War

Since Modern Time, Eastern-Central Europe has always been the dependency between east and west big country, it had been " buffering zone and " Shattering-belt "of Russia-Europe relations. On one hand, this is because Eastern-Central Europe has been hitting in the crack of the big country all the time, their most history had something to do with the struggle that the big countries of Europe fought for leading right. On the other hand, this was the result of its geography defect, national problem, religious contradiction, territorial dispute and backward in economy. After the cold war, following the enormous change of the whole world and European situation, the relations between Eastern-Central Europe, Russia and Western European countries constantly appears deepening development. Contacting the enormous change of the international and regional situation and the development change of the relation between Eastern-Central Europe, Russia and West Europe after the cold War, I discussed the problem of role change of Eastern-Central Europe in the relations between Europe and Russia. Through analyzing, comparing with and analyzing to the three possibility of role that Eastern-Central Europe may play in Russia -Europe relations after the cold war, I draw conclusion that, with enormous change of the international and regional situations after cold war, it is possible for in Eastern-Central Europe to change history destiny, and Eastern-Central Europe can probably act a role of " bridges "in Russia-Europe relations. Meanwhile, because the geopolitics situation of on crack of big country hasn't changed, it is also essential and important for Eastern-Central Europe to act the bridge " role in Russia-Europe relation. But considering that the development prospect of Russia is not very clear, Russia and western Europe have enormous differences in economy, political and social culture and because of mutual apprehensions and distrust among Russia, Eastern-Central Europe and Western European countries that formed from the historical experience, it cannot be plain sailing for Eastern-Central Europe to act the " bridge " role in Russia-Europe relation and there will be a quite long way to go. Among this course, I also analyzed the unfavorable factor for Eastern-Central Europe to act the " bridge " of role, the prospect of Eastern-Central Europe' s role in Russia-Europe relation.
