This paper is aimed at studying the relation of corporate culture and corporate core competence, creating a corporate culture with the theory of corporate core competence. That is to say, we should create a competence-based on culture that will cultivate and encourage the promotion of competence.On the background of economic globalization and knowledge economy, corporate culture is not only a kind of management mode but also an important part of corporate core competence .For example, in the content of corporate core competence, the advantages of differentiation make the competence show its special aspect and attraction. With the support of special culture the advantages become the spotlight of market and cannot be easily imitated and replaced by the opponent. Therefore, in studying the building of corporate culture based on core competence, we discuss the theory of corporate culture and core competence, pay attention to the relation of corporate culture and core competence.Through the research on corporate culture and core competence, this article raises the idea that corporate culture is the base of corporate core competence; the source of corporate permanent competitive advantage; the powerful guarantee to the corporate core competence, and the difficult to imitate corporate culture strengthens the specialty of corporate core competence. At the same time, this article also tells us there are two sides about corporate culture in improving corporate core competence. In order to improve corporate core competence we should build an excellent corporate culture, spurn the punk and sick corporate culture.After profoundly studying the relation of corporate culture and corporate core competence, this article puts forward some ideas about building corporate culture based on core competence such as stimulating creativity, remolding the core of corporate spirit; cultivating the common corporate values; molding the personality of corporate culture; building the good faith culture, winning the corporate reputation and so on, which are significant to build our modern corporate culture.In addition, this article demonstrates the corporate culture and core competence, corporate culture and operation achievement, and analyzes the relation of corporate culture and core competence by AHP and VE, discloses the importance of building corporate culture based on core competence.
