A Study On The Virtual Enterprises Information System

The thinking of Virtual Enterprise(VE) originate from agile manufacture, whose content contains and focuses on ones for the several management frontier such as supplying chains management (SCM) ,custom relationship management(CRM) and collaborative commerce (CC). VE is the outcomes produced from enterprise increasing management effects, decreasing management costs, strengthening itself core competence and commercial activities as regulating external resource .VE, as a totally new management model , has long been the researching hot point after being introduced in the theoretical and the industrial circle. The introduction for the concept of VE is the fruit come from changes of externally enterprise environment and the transformation with internally organizational and thinking in the company; and more the inevitable ones with the web era and information technology development. And what's more , Virtual Enterprise Information System(VEIS) is hot ones in the researching on the VE. In simple, VEIS is the man-machine integration system who is ,supporting the intelligent distributed structure openly and integrated by taking collaborated working with group-oriented ,and is using the computer web for co-joining the severally present different IS being distributed in the earthen locally and logically to more flexibly realize the dynamical collaboration between enterprises .The fundamental aims of VEIS is swiftly grasping the market opportunities to provide the technology and management support for the work of VE. This dissertation makes the comparatively deepening discussion and research on the VE and its IS construction especially on the conceptually and logically designing problems, which is also the emphasized researching point and main content. This thesis is taking the analyzing methods in the following: 1. Systematically analyzing and designing method. Because VEIS is the integration of IS with different types in fundamentally, the construction of VEIS is more complicated and perfect in functionally by comparison with the counterpart in the special area and is needed to take the systematically analyzing and designing method. 2. Compatible method by using the logical positivism ,graphical description and the case study The researching content in this dissertation is consisted by the several parts in the following: (1)The general description of VE. Several problems such as the producing background and causes ,conceptual appearance and development, forms and the working schema of VE which contains the basic types ,organization forms and its working schema, life cycle and the construction and management of VE are introduced in this chapter ,at the same time the characteristics and applying circumstance of VE is also classified as a emphases side. The target of this chapter is the aggregate assessment and grasp to the general circumstances of VE. (2) The concept of VEIS. Firstly IS which is classified from the two different sides consisting the concept with its structure of MIS and DBS is generally described. After that the nature of VEIS is the dynamically distributed DD based on the introduction of the former ones and is classified from three perspectives: the general description of D-DBS, the characteristics of VEIS as a basis on the D-DBS and the working schema. At last this chapter is making the conclusions on the researching and applying circumstance being present of VEIS. This chapter aims at grasping in image to the fundamental characteristics and functions of VEIS. (3) Information management of VEIS. Problems like the information types and schemas of VE, information management of VE is mainly introduced, and the database management concerning product information with VE is classified as a emphases side. The solution for the other ones besides the information model is simply introduced before the end of this chapter.
