On Protection Of The Rights Of Community Correction Objects

Promotion of community correction system is one of strikingly important items of current judicial reform. With the progressive development of human rights, protection of the rights of community correction objects becomes natural part of human rights protection. Strengthening the protection is a requirement coming from humanity, softening and civalization of penality notion, a requirement coming from protection of human rights, a requirement coming from raising efficiency of corection of criminal. Rights enjoyed by objects of community correction have the character of restriction, uniqueness, unstability and wideness. Personal rights, political rights, social and economic rights and legal remedy rights of community correction objects should be guaranteed. Protective work should be performed in accordance with following basic principles: the principle of rule of law, the principle of foudation of humanity, the principle of properness, the principle of different treatment. In practice, emphasis should be placed on strengthening protective law making, law enforcement, institutional measurements, social protection and supervision in promotion of rights of community correction objects.
