Dongxian Minority Immigrants Of Shule River Basin Investigation And Study

Shule River Basin Dongxiang immigrants are "Two West" poverty alleviation and development project in Gansu. It started from 1986, the original Dongxiang people living in Dongxiang County with poor environment moved to the Shule River Basin, established immigrant base. XiaoJinwan Dongxiang Township is one of the Dongxiang minority immigrants resettlement base. This paper takes XiaoJinwan Dongxiang Town as an example, researches the specific situation of immigrants moved from Dongxiang County to Gansu Shule River Basin, in the basis of extensive field surveys, focusing on analysis of the mental life and the production environment adaptability of immigrants, descript their production life and culture, then analysis the problem of immigration in present and put forward proposals to solving these issues.First, the paper discusses the multi-motivation of Dongxiang relocation. Dongxiang immigration under the policy and guidance of the national government will be implemented by individual voluntary relocation. Pushed by harsh natural environment, limited population capacity, and socio-economic lag, while pulled by better natural environment and agricultural development potential of Shule River Basin, Dongxiang immigrants relocated to the Shule River Basin. Second, this paper surveys in a lot of questionnaire survey and case analysis, researches the adaptation of Dongxiang immigrants living environment and production of new lifestyles. Overall, after years of hard work, immigration has moved to meet the basic living conditions and mode of production, and living conditions have certainly improved. It starts the social and cultural concept of immigrants from the marriage, gender roles, religious life, girls'education and other aspects to talk about the internal organization of immigrant society, customs, ideas and other cultural factors of immigrants, research the changes of people impacted by immigration.Final, the study summed up the main issues of Dongxiang immigrants currently, especially water, land, infrastructure construction, from a macroscopic way thinks about the future development of immigrants, drawn up the opinions and suggestions of solving these social problems and improve the Dongxiang living standard, hoping the Dongxiang immigration will continuously improving the living condition and the ecosystems of Shule River Basin, to achieving harmony between man and nature.
