Discussion On The Development Model Of Chinese Non-profit Foundation

The first Chinese non-profit foundation–– China Children and Teenagers'Fund was established till 1981.General speaking, although compared with the non-profit foundation in developed countries, Chinese non-profit foundation is very behind in terms of the numbers and social influence, the speed of Chinese non-profit foundation's development together with its achievements have already catch the public's eyes. And the potential of its developments is also attracted worldwide attention. Indeed, Chinese non-profit foundation has developed for a short time, and both the legal environment and its internal management exist many problems which should be solved. Frankly speaking, in this area, the non-profit foundations in developed countries, especially in the United States of American ("USA") are developed for a long time and a lot of successful experience worth to be studied and learned by us. Through the study of historic development of USA non-profit foundation and its model foundation, we find that USA non-profit foundation is advance in foundation operation and is well protected by its external environment such as system and supervision. Therefore, this essay intent to research any creative thing required during the development of Chinese non-profit foundation, especially the internal management and the interaction between the system and society. Further, this essay attempts to make the strategy for the development of Chinese non-profit foundation.This essay includes five chapters. Chapter One generally introduces the general status of the development of Chinese non-profit foundation, analyses the background of its development and concludes the huge achievements Chinese non-profit foundation has achieved. Chapter Two concentrates on analyzing the development model of Chinese non-profit foundation in terms of its establishment, legal status, organization structure and operation management. Based on the former chapter, Chapter Three analyses the negative factors which affect the development model of Chinese non-profit foundation from both internal and external aspects. Such analyze intents to set a solid foundation to further discuss how to improve and promote the development of Chinese non-profit foundation. Chapter Four introduces and analyses the development of USA non-profit foundation, including its history, culture and reality as well as the laws and regulations, management structure and operation model related to its development, which the author hopes could be learned by Chinese non-profit foundation. Chapter Five concentrates on the suggestion to improve the development of Chinese non-profit foundation, including the suggestion in terms of improving laws and regulations, strengthening internal management and building better social charity culture.
