Study On The Concepts Of Juvenile Community Correction

Juvenile delinquency is a prominent problem of republic order recently. To prevent and reduce it has became a common problem confronted all the countries in the world. In criminal policy, every country pays more attention to correcting and protecting Juvenile delinquency, trying to play down punishment. The concept of juvenile community correction is a genuine condition and rational cognition to juvenile community correction. How to propel juvenile community correction in depth more effectively puts forward new requests to our traditional executing punishment concept and method. That is, what kind of concept and method we should take to meet the need of juvenile community correction practice? Chapter 1 of this paper propounded an idea that the Law should give the special protection to juvenile, and introduced the importance of community correction to the juvenile. Chapter 2 through the comparison of different law enforcement concepts and analysis of juvenile community correction status quo pointed out the significance to construct the right concept for juvenile community correction. Chapter 3 introduced the developments and experiences of juvenile community correction system and concept from America, England, and New Zealand etc. Chapter 4 analyzed the factors that affected juvenile community correction of our country, and pointed out the defects of juvenile community correction system. Chapter 5 propounded the suggestions to improve the system of juvenile community correction of our country.
