The Political Participation Of Migrant Workers

Migrant workers are the product of the modern economic system collide with China's traditional household registration system .is a particular social group in China's social transition,with distinctive Chinese characteristics and phase characteristics. Migrant workers has become an important force in the development of China's industrialization, the majority of migrant workers, through their hard work made a great contribution for the cities'prosperity and development. However, it is very difficult for them to enjoy the fruits of progress of social civilization, and some basic rights has not been effectively protected.The core of the all the rights is political equality, other rights is just the rights'derivatives. The political participation of migrant workers is a major issue of concern,because of various factors, neither migrant workers did not participate in political life in rural areas nor integrate into the urban political life, their political participation in double marginalized. In this paper, it is researched based on the field survey and analyses with the related therories.Attempts to explore the current lack of political participation of migrant workers and their constraints, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to better promote China's political development from the political, economic, and educational point of view.This study is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the research background, research purposes and significance,the current situation of domestic research and review, the main research content and innovative point, and explain research methods. The second part essentially defines several important concepts: migrant workers, political participation, political participation of migrant workers. Also analyzed the significance of political participation of migrant workers. Part iii will analyze china's current lack of political participation of migrant workers according to the survey results. Chapter iv will analyze the reasons for lack of political participation. Mainly from the subjective and objective factors to analyze the reasons. Part v, to actively find solutions to enhance the political participation of migrant workers.
