Based on the historical data of Jiao Lun monthly and Guan Yu monthly which are journals published separately for the overseas Chinese of the clan of Situ and Guan and other published monthly in Chikan and the files in Kaiping Archives, we have studied the association and main activities of the clan in Chikan, the development and disputes of Situ and Guan clan which is supported by their overseas kin, and the role of clan elite in society of Chikan. the organization of the clan in overseas Chinese villages has showed democratic and internationalized features and maintaining the safety of villages and developing the clan education were their main activities, because of the special factors:overseas relationships, remittances and the advanced thought which overseas Chinese have brought, when the power of the government of the republic of China has tried to invade into the bottom society.
