China is a country with a strong patriarchal clan tradition。For a long time,clans have been an important force in rural governance and play an irreplaceable role in the political stability and social development of rural areas。Since the 80s of the 20th century,the integration model of rural grass-roots power with the combination of politics and society has come to an end,Because of the loose external environment,the cultural core that remains,and the strong consanguinity connection,the modernization of rural governance system Interweaving with the revival of traditional clan culture。How to evaluate the returning clan culture in the system of villager autonomy?How to realize the utilization and positive transformation of clan culture?This article is based on a sample of the village of Yuquan in L City,Analyzing the influence of clan culture on villagers’ autonomy and focus on its role in the process of villager autonomy.The impact is manifold,including rural democratic political activities,rural economic mutual aid behavior,rural cultural activities,mass social psychology and so on。In view of the essential attribute of clan culture,we must treat the revival of clan culture objectively and dialectically,correctly recognize the positive and negative energy of clan culture,and put forward effective countermeasures.
