As two neighbors in the East Asian. China and Japan have a long-term relationship during the history. After World Warâ…¡. the two countries were suffering the hostility in the first two decades. Until the 1972, the Japanese Prime Minister Tanaka's visit to China opened the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries. After that, as the most important bilateral relationship, Sino-Japanese political and economic relations can be described through the twists and turns.During the early stages of normalization of diplomatic relations, China and Japan showed good political relations, especially Japan adopted an actively communication with the Chinese side forming a rare political honeymoon. With good political relations, the Sino-Japanese trading had also achieved considerable development. When coming to the 1980s, the friction such as the visiting the Yasukuni Shrine and tampering the history text books began to influence the two countries. In economy, Chinese government implemented the export and import restrictions to intervene the overheating situation. With the pace of Reform and opening-up policy, Sino-Japanese political and economic relations stepped into another boom in 1990s. Because of the good political relations, the Sino-Japanese trading and FDI showed us a good performance until the Asian financial crisis.In the 21st century, Sino-Japanese political and economic relations become more and more complicated. From 2001 to 2005, the Koizumi Cabinet period pushed the political relations into the freezing point. However the economic relations maintained high speed development during the five years. After the Koizumi Cabinet, Japan's politics fall into chaos from 2006 to 2011. Japan's politics experienced five prime minister, Shinzo Abe, Yasuo Fukuda, Taro Aso, Yukio Hatoyama and Naoto Kan. Considering this political context, economic cooperation between two countries also could not escape the fate of decline. Therefore, this study is maimed to make a clear picture of Sino-Japanese political and economic future relations for the further establishment of Sino-Japanese political and economic relations mechanism model...
