Research On The Workers' Social Interest Under The Background Of Changing The Mode Of Economic Development

The report of 17th Communist Party Congress put forward the concept of changing mode of economic development, accelerating the transformation of the mode of economic development is currently the subject of our national economic development. Although the scholars are still not having a consistent view on defining the meaning of economic development, but "Change of economic development mode" is in line with the requirements of the scientific development of the times. Changing the mode of economic development requires enterprises to configure the various factors of production efficiently, achieved with minimal input of output as much as possible, the enterprises'condition can directly affect change the mode of economic development success or not. In this context, enterprises must increase technology investment and management input, to combine the scientific factors, management factors and other factors of production, promote the economic development transformation. Therefore, enterprises need technical improvement and management optimization.Party and government have always attached great importance to the realization of labor rights and labor relations stability. In April,2010, General Secretary Hu Jintao proposed that, Protect the social interests of working people is a fundamental requirement of Socialism, we should adopt effective measures to in practice, allow employees to participate in democratic decision-making, democratic management and democratic supervision, make the broad workers achieve decent work, and guide the workers continue to improve ideological and moral standards, enhance scientific and cultural quality.Although the "Labor Law" has been promulgated and implemented many years, workers still lack protection of social interests in practice. Such as companies ignore the rights of workers to join trade unions, workers lack the spiritual and cultural rights, gender inequality, damage the rights and interests of women workers. Therefore, in the context of economic development mode change, how to protect workers'social rights is a serious problem.In order to explore how to protect the social rights of workers more effectively, in the context of changing the mode of economic development, this paper, on the basis of research results from domestic and foreign scholars, take various types of Pearl River Delta enterprises as empirical research samples, proposed the theoretical model to study the relationship between change the mode of economic development and workers'social interests,This study, take technological improvements and management optimization as dimensions of changes of the economic development. And also take the trade union rights, cultural rights, gender equality, women workers'special rights as for dimensions of workers' social interests. Moreover, take sex, school record, position, enterprises nature and enterprise size as controlled variable for the theoretical model.The study design questionnaire, obtain empirical data from questionnaire survey, and through using the SPSS 16.0 and LISREL8.7 to verify the assumptions.Finally, this paper summarizes some of enlightenment on the basis of analyzing the empirical results, for the protection of workers'social rights. Meanwhile, this study proposes some opinions for further research.
