ThiS article consists of introduction,body and conclusion.Chapter I explains the definition of public health,and introduces the development of public health protection under 1aw.Chapter II focuses on environmental impact on publiC health.VariOUS environment factors have called wide attention from the SOCiety.Many international environmental treaties attach importance to the relation between health and environment.Chapter III mainly analyzes the role of WH0.WHO iS the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system.It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters,and makes a significant contribution in health and environment protection.Chapter TV iS based on national conditions of China.China also faces many challenges in the field of pub]ic health protection.Research on legal issues of health protection will assist the government to sol ve problems.
