On The Value Proposition And Path Selection Of Participatory Governance

Globalization and economic informationalization offer an opportunity and challenge for the innovation of governance model in china government. How to improve the governing capacity and carry out the aim of serving the people wholeheartedly in the changing and complex social and economic environment? How to protect public interests and realize democracy and justice during the public management? These become topics which many people are concerned with. Participatory governance means the pluralism of public governance which brings the relevant organizations and personnel into public management system. It's the direction for government management innovation.Based on the theory and reality, this paper illustrates the emerge of participatory governance in detail. It figures out that participatory governance is the optimization model for the government management reform and points that the value of participatory governance should be defined as the way to develop our economy and social practice. It's an important method to reform the Chinese traditional administrative mode which can improve government management and lead our country from administrative democracy to political democracy, finally realizing good governance and social harmony. Meanwhile, modeled after the successful practice in other countries, the author made suggestions for establishing our own participatory governance according to the reality of our country from variant perspectives.
