In recent years, the development of information technology and widespread of network, make e-commerce develop rapidly. E-commerce has become the first choice of shopping, and its concept has been accepted by more people because of its great convenience. But the security of virtual commerce transaction is suffering a big challenge, while the consumers enjoying the surf-style shopping on internet. That is also what they have felt.In the beginning the consumer's right to know is infringed because of the asymmetry information, and then the right to security, fair trade, return, and even damage claims infringed too. That is to say consumer interests are developed from general tort interest stage to the full range. These problems not only cause damage to consumer e-commerce, but also hampered the development of e-commerce seriously. This is a great bottleneck to e-commerce development, which will influence the healthy development of the e-commerce industry.The first chapter introduces the concept of the e-commerce and e-commerce consumers, and analyzes the rights by comparison between the traditional consumers and e-commerce consumers.The second chapter analyzes the situation of the violations of consumer rights, such as the rights to know, security, fair trade, return and request for compensation .Among them the right to know and security is the key analysis of the content. The virtual network is easily to infringe on the consumer's right to know by various ways. The right to security is the most important rights and interests to consumers throughout the consumption process. And e-commerce suffers a great threat of infringement on right to security, especially the right to property security.Chapter III introduces some ways of protection to the consumers in the foreign countries. Compared with Chinese e-commerce these ways provides useful lessons for our Improvement of Protection Consumer.The fourth chapter analysis many problems of the e-commerce and put forward a view of consumer protection in China by learning foreign practices. They are references to protection of our e-commerce.
