Study On The Scope Of Government Information Publication

The scope of government information publication is the key to guarantee right to know and protect public interest. Government Information Publishing Regulations do not define the information published initiatively, published upon application and not published clearly, so it conflicts with Confidentiality Law and Archives Law in practice and brings problems such as enlarging publishers' discretion. Revising the regulations timely , clearing the scope, amending the laws, changing the concepts and improving supporting measures are useful way to publish government information better.
