A Study Of Military Diplomacy Between Sino-US Post The Cold War

As the country's an integral part of overall diplomacy, the military diplomacy plays an increasingly important role. This study is qualitative research, focusing the specific content between the Sino-US diplomatic military relations, especially since the post—Cold War. Analysis of the prospective, the characteristics, and the functions of Sino-US military diplomacy.The purpose is to reveal the law of development of Sino-US bilateral military diplomacy, in order to provide a useful reference for China to carry military diplomacy with US.In this paper, it explains the concept and form of military diplomacy, and the motivation, the characteristics, the rules, and the factors that affect bilateral military diplomacy.The studying results show that the power of the state interest and the international cooperation theory can be used to interpret the practice of Sino-US military diplomatic. The overall Sino-US military diplomacy relations take a profound impact on the level of military diplomacy between the two countries. And the good military relations play a positive role on overall foreign relations between China and US, also will be helpful to the peace and stability of the world. Therefore we should continue to advance the development of military diplomacy between two countries.
