Research The Political Stability Mechanism Of The Northwest Ethnic Areas In China

The northwest ethnic areas is a multi-ethnic areas, and it is also the mostimportant ethnic areas of China. It is of great significance to maintain politicalstability in these areas.With rapid social transition, it produced a series of profoundcontradictions and problems in the northwest ethnic areas,these cross-cutting issueswill be put greater pressure and demands on the ethnic political system and statepolitical system.Faced with this situation, the political system must construct aneffective mechanism to enhance the power and capability in response to the fastchanging social environment,in order to maintain conflict and contradiction in orderto ensure long-term stability and good government in the region and country.Based on the relevant political stability theory, the author reviewed thetraditional political stability model of the Northwest ethnic areas since 1949 and itsoperational mechanism. Then he makes a comprehensive political analysis of theAutonomy Political System, the economic development condition, the multiculture,the inter-ethnic relations in Northwest multi-ethnic areas, and the relations withpolitical stability, then he have a deep analysis of variety of factors which may affectpolitical stability in theses areas,and its mechanism, at last, he puts forward apolitical stability mechanism according to the rapid social development. Thispolitical stability mechanism is a mechanism cluster including several mechanismsand a mechanism system interacting with each other. Specifically speaking,Itincludes three major mechanisms, self stability mechanism of Political system,social operation control mechanism and social autonomous governence mechanism.The self stable mechanism of political system can divided into political resourcessupport mechanism, political culture cohesion mechanism, political systemperfection and development mechanism. Social operation regulation mechanisms arecomposed of institutionalized interests expression mechanism, multiple interestsintegration mechanism, social conflict mediation mechanism. Finally, the authorpoints out that it shoud cultivate social autonomy governmence mechanism in orderto alleviate politics system's pressure, lead these areas form stability to harmony.
