Study On Supply Chain Efficiency

This paper studies some questions of supply chain efficiency. The concept of supply chain efficiency is divided into two aspects: outside-supply chain efficiency and inside supply chain efficiency. Firstly, the relationship between customers'satisfaction and supply chain efficiency is considered. The customers are divided into outside-customers and inside-customers. According to them, two criteria systems are built. It refers that the high score of customers'satisfaction is the aim of enhances supply chain efficiency. Then, the important effect to supply chain efficiency of choosing optimal partners is emphasized. A model based on DEA is considered, with which the structure of supply chain network is decided. It has the first position in supply chain operations. After the optimal structure of supply chain network is decided, the supply chain efficiency losing is considered. A model based on return policy is set up, with which the supply chain efficiency losing can be reduced effectively. Thirdly, the method of inventory control has an important effect on inside-supply chain efficiency. In order to have a quantitative research, a model based on setup time policy is built. As a result, the high efficiency is received by reducing the lead-time relative with setup time. Finally, recognizing the high value of information in supply chain, the foundation and implementing of information sharing mechanism are discussed.
