By integrating related theories and methods of system engineering, software engineering, computer science and economics of agriculture, according to the imbalance status of produce and sale of farm product and the problem of farm product logistics, this paper brings forward the necessities and essentialities of founding farm product third-part logistics management information system (TPLMIS) adapting to logistics development of farm product.After subscription with copartner (agriculture enterprise), the independent third-part logistics builds an Internet website. Both sides of business can trade online. TPLMIS is inter-system with the website. This paper analyzed the scheduled objects and specific functional modules through business requirements, then designed the system with advanced computer tools. Finally, the TPLMIS based on J2EE realizes well maintenance and transplant; and different clients can access the system from Internet browser.Compared with the traditional logistics system, TPLMIS adopts J2EE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition). MVC (Model-View-Control) pattern and STRUTS framework. J2EE has plenty of advantages, such as scalability, high availability, supporting for heterogeneous environments, maintainability, etc. The view tier and the business tier can separate effectively in this architecture. The deploying and update of system become easy because of this advanced architecture.
