The System Analysis Of The Modern Rural Credit Association (1928-1940s)

This thesis studies the development of rural cooperation in the Republic of China between 1928 and 1940 under the guide of the theory of system variance and by the means of western economics and development economics. It is the result of both accidental and evitable causes. Such as the village financial dried up, the source of the runner guided, the consortium mind long existed, the international co-operation of the far flow captain and the thing association turns the campaign.Under the influence of various causes, the development of co-operative underwent two stages. Namely, the first stage was self-moving setup before 1927's, the second stage was the enforceability setup. Different stages take on different traits. In the first stage, the cooperative shape is scattered, narrow, and lacking the definite organization. In the second stage, the cooperative shape is gradually mature. Not only does it gain the support of the government and the protect of the related laws, but also its internal organization and trade are also increasingly perfect.The thesis pays more attention to analyze the main trade form —credit association of the cooperative. The credit association is the cardinal trade form of the cooperative, exerting transitional function. on the one hand, it is a hereditament of traditional finance; on the other hand, it is the induction of the rise of the modern banking. Then the text steers to parse from the internal organization form, the trade in method, the superintendence form of the cooperative etc, pointing out the modernity character during the course of the cooperative development.
