The degree of SME's transnational operation reflects a country's or regions' economic development. So it's a great problem worthy of attention and research on how to expedite the speed of SME's transnational operation, especially for developing countries's SME.The cities' transformation of economic system and transformation of financial system at the beginning of 80s make SME achieve great opportunity. In coastal developed area, a large quantity of SME try to expand transnational operation and make great achievements. In this key time of the deepen of globalization and the entry into WTO, it should be the most serious problem needed to solve to create condition for those strengthen SME which try every effort to expand transnational operation. Now it's very urgent for Chinese SME to expand transnational operation in the face of the trend of globalization and meet the demand of their own development.Ruth Stanat and Chris West have pointed out that global jumpstart is the best way for SME to expand their business. And if effective operation strategies and government support are involved, Prosperous future for SME in transnational operation can be predicted. This paper focus on the situation of present SME in our country, and put forward the strategy of Chinese SME's transnational operation.This paper is divided into five parts. Part one is preface; Part two explain some theories of Chinese SME's transnational operation. Part three look through the practise and situation of abroad SME. Part four analyzes the possibility and inevitability respectively from the purport and condition. Part five put forward six strategies suitable for the transnational operation of Chinese SME and suggestions for the government at the end of the paper.
