Study On The Conceptual Planning Of Tourism Development In The Tibet Region

The Tibet region is a special area either in China or all over the world. There are many conflictions and contradictions here. This phenomenon makes many scholars contemplate for a long time. The first problem is transforming the traditional industry and developing the regional economy. The second is the nationality's uniqueness that is caused by the complicated and various traditional cultures. The third is the original and endemic environment protection that is threatened by the globalization and modernization. The main research tendency in this thesis is that the Tibet region should abandon the industrialization way because of the following two reasons. First, the resource endowment, the positional condition and market capacity here are not suit to the modern industry development. Second, the modern industrialization would destroy the original ecology, the religious culture, the national ethics, the belief base and the social structure. Then the Tibet region's uniqueness would disappear totally. But the tourism will have great function for the sustainable development here. It can make the regional economy prosperous; can protect the local ecological environment, can harmonize the confliction between the globalization and the Tibet traditional culture.So, a good tourism planning idea is the key factor for the realization of the above ideas. In other word, with the implement of this conceptual planning, the tourism function mentioned above can do effect actually. The tourism conceptual planning should abandon the directive, the unilateral and linear features in the traditional tourism planning. It should be multi-side, alternative and less elasticity. During the procedure of market dividing and interest allocation, the local people's benefit should be the first, the interest allocation and benefit inspiriting should be reasonable.The following is the structure arrangement of this thesis:In the first part, the Tibet area situation is introduced; point out the research theme of this article and the structure arrangement in the following part.In the second part, the way of tourism planning practice and theory in history is reviewed, the dilemma that the tourism planning faces today and the conceptual tourism planning's introduction and popularity are analyzed. The developing procedure of conceptual tourism planning, its main features and its development are introduced. The relationship between the conceptual planning and the traditional material planning and the conformity way of them are studied.
