Research On Development And Planning Of Tourist Resources From Perspectives Of Sustainable Exploitation

Being a newly global booming industry full of vigor and hope and one of the tertiary industries supported and encouraged to develop by the Chinese government as well, the tourist industry enables the local people to shake off poverty and to relieve the employment of the idle, thus speeding up the steady growth of the national economy in China.Tourist resources are limited and rare. The irrational exploitation of the resources will not merely result in wasting resources, but also in destroying carriers of tourist resources. The intensive, efficient and rational exploitation and effective integration of tourist resources are the critical premise to enhance tourist economic efficiency, to protect resources and ecological environments, and the prerequisite and key foundation to further tourist industrial development sustainably.The development situation of tourist industry in China demands to create top-notch attractions of outstanding Chinese characteristics, full of rich cultural elements and diversities, which focuses on the market guideline and bases on local tourist resources' advantages, in planning and exploiting tourist resources.In this paper, it is in this very perspective that the author deals with and analyzes the definition, forming condition, inner mechanism and replacement characters of tourist resources, and the theoretical features, contents and methods of exploiting and planning the tourist resources. Meanwhile, the author also deals with a practical research with the illustration of the development and effective integration of tourist resources in Xi'an, to strengthen marriage of theory and practice, which makes a useful attempt and provide a good example of how to exploit and plan tourist resources.
