Research On The Development Path Of Technological Capabilities Of Enterprises In Zhejiang Province

Technological reforms, which have come forward through the long-term accrual of technological capabilities of enterprises, may be considered most important for the rapid progress in the emerging industrial countries and regions in East Asia. Their internal mechanism is the realization of technological strategy from imitation to innovation. This development mechanism has already been proven by the economic miracles in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Many industries and enterprises in Zhejiang Province are also repeating this mechanism. With China's entry into the WTO and the overwhelming trend of globalization, the enterprises in Zhejiang Province are facing great challenge of technological reforms. How to reappear the rapid progress by accumulating technological capabilities becomes a historic problem to the development of economy and enterprises in Zhejiang Province.Firstly, based on the references from both home and abroad and the definition of "capabilities" from the behavioral, we advance a considerably complete concept of technological capabilities of enterprises. The term "technological capabilities of enterprises" stands for the ability to use technological knowledge effectively as the enterprise searching, selecting, acquiring, assimilating and improving the existing technology.
