Mining subsidence is the dominating cause of dynamic change in mining area. It is significant for the exploitation in mining area to predominate its rule of land use dynamic change. GIS and RS are used as technical means into the study on land use dynamic change in mining area.Probability integral method is used to forecast the mining subsidence of the specific pit mining play.The forecasted results are brought into Arcview, and the influencing degree and position because of mining subsidence on all kinds of lands are analyzed.The RS image processing is completed by ENVI. The vegetation and the present situation of land use in study area is investigated using RS. The old database is updated based on RS. The soil erosion in study area is evaluated using GIS and RS.Based on the results of spatial analyze, the change of all kinds of lands in different periods is forecasted and assessed. The change of dynamic land use in study area is showed by the matic map.
