Studies on seeking competition advantages of enterprises have always been a key point in enterprise strategic management. In this long-term study, researchers has put more emphasis on getting the source of competitive advantages by the marketnization of the enterprise itself, or finding the special enterprise resource on which the competitive advantages rely on. However, they did not pay enough attention to considering the problem of getting the competitive advantage in the non-market enterprise activities.And this paper brings the topic of getting competitive advantages to non-profit organizations. It gives the idea that the donation by the enterprises to non-profit organizations can be a effective way of getting competitive advantages, and it studies the inner cause of its forming this source. More importantly, it systematically studies the activity system of the enterprises' donating to non-profit organizations and finally give powerful theoretical support to the domestic enterprises' donation activities.First of all, this article gives a description of the current competitive environment and emphasis on the need on exploring new ways of aquiring competitive advantages. It points out the significance and the innovative points of this research. After analyzing on the environment of the donating activities by the enterprises to non-profit organizations, from the relationship between the needs and economic environment, support environment and policy and legal environment, it lays a practical foundation for finding a suitable donation way for domestic enterprises. I put forward a the theoretical frame of social activities of enterprises helps forming competitive advantages, and thus it gives analysis on the channel of getting competitive advantages by donation. Then, this article systematically analyses the donation activities by enterprises to non-profit organizations. It is going to make further study on the motive, the way of behavior and cooperation of this donation activity by giving examples from home and abroad and related practical research. The final aim is to provide theoretical support to the practical operation of the domestic enterprises, and this is going to be the key part of the discussion in this paper. Some quantitative analysis will be notified to support above viewpoints.
