Comment On The Rectification Campaign Of The Whole People From 1957 To 1958

The whole people's rectification campaign from 1957 to 1958 is an important Rectification campaign in the history of the country and CPC. But as known to the author, the academic circles have few researches on it till today. This thesis is divided into four parts. The 1st part mainly expounds the observation of it, including the background and the general situation, the general situation was divided into five parts: people in countryside, the organ in CPC,government and the army, factory, ethnic minority and the other fields including democratic parties, business circles, science and education fields. The 2nd part compares vertical and horizontal to summarize the features. The 3rd part approaches the influences from the positive and the negative aspects, the negative influence still took the main respect. The 4th part summarizes the lessons, they are: the political criticism on ideology hindered the development of the democratic politics construction,the wrong understanding of principal contradiction influenced the process of the social development seriously,the way of the mass movement would not be adopt in the period of socialist construction. Exploration the whole people's rectification campaign has great meanings in strengthen political civilization construction today.
