Research On Building The Product Data Management System In Electronic Enterprise

The domestic electronic trade, which takes very large proportion in GDP, develops rapidly at present, and its development speed is triple of GDP of the same period. The export of domestic electronic products is increase constantly too, the proportion of domestic electronic product's export in total export already exceeded 20%. But for domestic electronic in our coutry, the efficiency of management in products-data is not very much high, this kind of enterprise hopes to heighten the level of management in products-data through implementing the products data management (PDM) system. Therefore, now the electronic trade is very great to the products data management system.This article proceeds from characteristic of the electronic products, and then analyzed the particularity in implementing PDM in electronic enterprises. Through analyzing current situation and question of PDM, we understand the necessity of implementing PDM in electronic enterprises.The article summarizes that application and development situation of the PDM system. Then through a set of scientific procedure the article put forward to setting up the PDM system. Firstly we use system analysis to decide on the PDM function, and select Optimum scheme implementing PDM system; secondly, in system design stage, we scientifically choose the system and system supplier to guarantee implement system effectively and economically; thirdly, the implementing stage set up ideal PDM system.The article uses knowledge stated above to describe and analyze a case that suoyi company implement PDM system. For the key implementation problem, the article put forward author's own view and suggestion.
