| Under the lead of development of the west china strategic , according to the successful experience in highway construction in our country east, central region , and combining the western region actual circumstance ,and afer drawing successful lessons some developed country in exploiting economy undeveloped region . From the angle of the comprehensive conveyance development,study the principal, thought, development target, develop the programming, and constuct the point of our country in developing the highway of west region in recent time,and establish the government policy and the development support measure ,discuss the new way of the development of west hightway ,then can make the constructing of transporting and management have a qualitative leap ,it can promote the nation comity ,society progress and economy development.The research contents of this thesis mainly includes following few aspectses:1. From the angle of the comprehensive conveyance, afer analysing the western region highway construction ,we get a conclusion of hightway in west region is occuping the dominant status ,and we think it has the problem of "two bad,three low and tow lack ".2. Builting up strategic network in big district structure estimate method, adopting the analysises of determine the nature,quantitative analyse and various mathematics model verifies mutually, in many ways to forecast the requirement of highway construction .3. Combine western region physically, establish western region region of highway constuct the strategic target and strategic layouts,and put forward western region region of highway construction should divide the main trunk line, district network, the village highway of National Freeway to constuct,and form the economic performance, item priority and contact of the other regions put forward the point construction item. At the same time estimating the western region the highway construction of the region invests, putting forward the funds to collect the suggestion.
