The Study On The Evaluation Theory And Method Of Quality Management System Effectiveness Of Software Organizations

This thesis intends to give a brief introduction to the framework and new features of ISO9000: 2000 family standards. Based on the analysis of the systemic characters of quality management system and the basic connotations of quality management system effectiveness and the research necessity of evaluating quality management system effectiveness, the thesis puts forward the criteria for quality management system effectiveness, including standardization, implementation, profitability and persistence, with the use of the typical system model. ISO9000 family standards may instruct organizations in all walks of life to set up quality management system. Each industry has its distinctions and requirements for quality management system due to the variety of industry backgrounds and products or services available. Objectively speaking, it is difficult to design a general evaluation system for all industries, which will fail to reflect the characters of each industry. This thesis hereby attempts to introduce a new solution, which is based on "industry template"concept. The so-called "industry template"refers to a custom-built evaluation index system for the industry, which is featured with more embodiment of industry characters, depth and scope of evaluation, pertinence and maneuverability. Owing to the fact that quality management system of software organizations is unsubstantial in today's China, the thesis selects quality management system effectiveness of software organizations as the research field and provides an example of "industry template"resorting to AHP and fuzzy evaluation theory. At the same time, the thesis confirms the validity of the "industry template"with software capability maturity model. In order to simplify the process of quality management system effectiveness, the thesis introduces the tool software, which unifies calculation interface and process of evaluation of quality management system effectiveness, and explores the feasibility of computer process of evaluation of quality management system effectiveness. With the tool software, each organization is free to choose an appropriate "industry template"and modify several index items or add necessary new index items as well.
