The modern theories about competitive advantage regard the inimitable knowledge, particularly implicit knowledge owned by enterprise as the source of enterprises' sustainable competitive advantage. So, the knowledge management quickly becomes the important contents of management in modern enterprises. Meanwhile, how to promote the knowledge to transfer and realize the synergic effect of knowledge are the main contents of knowledge management. This paper will focus on the knowledge transfer from the inter-section point of view.The paper includes six parts. In first part, the concept and characteristics of knowledge are described in detail, then section called in this paper and knowledge transfer of inter-section are defined. In second part, the paper sums up the literatures about knowledge transfer mainly from the models of knowledge transfer, the factor influencing knowledge transfer and the research objects about knowledge transfer. The third part deals with the modes of knowledge transfer of inter-section, and brings up four models of knowledge transfer of inter-section, which are collateral mode, serial mode, alternant mode and spiral mode. The following part discusses the factors influencing knowledge transfer of inter-section. These factors include the discrepancy of section in identifying knowledge, the mental models of section, the cognitive obstacles, the conflicts in section and inter-section, and the position in organization. In fifth part, on the base of the analyzing documents about the classification and frames of knowledge, the paper puts forward the concept of section whole knowledge and its contents (such as mental models, technological frames, transactive memory, system and practice etc.), and points out the types of the knowledge transfer of inter-section. Chapter six deals with the mechanism of knowledge transfer, which include organization structure, information technique, enterprise culture, alternative work, work environment and incentive mechanisms.
