Knowledge is the key resource in competitions of an enterprise. Knowledge management is an important part of enterprise management. As to an enterprise, the major and tricky problem is how to fulfill knowledge transfer that is highlighted by many experts and practitioners in the field. Although many findings were gained, they could not meet the pragmatic demands of knowledge management in an enterprise, thus needing further study. To explore factors of knowledge transfer and the relations between the factors and capacities of knowledge transfer (the maturity of knowledge management) in enterprises, the theories and methods of management and statistics were employed in the present study. Based on the analysis of processes in knowledge transfer and the core of knowledge management that refers to individuals, groups and organizations, a three-component model of knowledge transfer, which is the general model in this study, was obtained. In the empirical researches of 10 enterprises, the general model was confirmed, and a concrete model was found by menas of SEM (Structural Equation Model), namely, the model of factors in knowledge transfer among individuals, groups and organizations, which quantitied the effects of factors on capacities of knowledge transfer. Under the empirical study of 10 enterprises, criterions of the maturity of knowledge management were gotten by means of cluster analysis. All the results revealed that the Questionnaire of Factors and the Maturity in Knowledge Transfer could be used to guide knowledge management in enterprises, therefore, some effective measues and concrete suggestions will be obtained by surveying the questionnaire in knowledge management.
