Specialist-aided System Of Timber Forest Assets Evaluation

This paper was based on the principles and concept of software development and the theory of timber forest assets evaluation. This system which was used Delphi and ADO data accessing technology to turn out the Specialist-aided System of Timber Forest Assets Evaluation caused the common users can realize timber forest assets evaluation that had achieved or approached the expert level. It made full use of the computer in the forest assets evaluation, improving the efficiency and the benefit ratio of the assets evaluation. This paper hoped used the system to benefit the management of the forestry resources.Firstly, this paper was combined the present situation of the timber forest assets evaluation and foreign resources information management research to elaborate the forest resources evaluation principle and the theory of Specialist-aided. Then it carried on the system research and development according to the software survival cycle. For the first time, the Specialist-aided system was constructed by Delphi and the ADO database access technology in the foundation of the timber forest subcompartment evaluation and rate average evaluation. This system has mainly established the evaluation module, the data maintenance module and the report form-printing module. Among them, evaluation module realized subcompartment evaluation and rate average evaluation which was the main module in constructing. The data maintenance module had realized the management of the timber price list, growth predicting equation, economic index and so on. The report form-printing module realized the output of evaluation results. This system provided the possibility of the accurate computation and improving efficiency of forest resources assets evaluation.
