The Perfection And Development Of National Regional Autonomy System In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

It is critically vital to a nation' s long-term stability and survival to solve the national regional autonomy problems successfully. Based on a thorough study of other experts' research and achievement on this subject, the author of this article has analyzed the current national regional autonomy status in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, found out the achievement, experience and the remaining problems, with the aim of a further comprehensive examination of the perfection and improvement in this respect in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The author has first fully discussed the significance of economic development to the implementation of current national regional autonomy, in terms of politics, economy, culture and some other relating aspects. The author has concluded that, in order to have the whole society obtain a comprehensive and profound acknowledgement of the Marxist perspective of national regional autonomy, to encourage the cooperation and coexistence of all nationalities, and to provoke the massive vitality and productivity to "love and build Inner Mongolia" ; it is significant to extensively circulate the national regional theories of Marxism, andthe Communist national policy. Therefore, the public education in affairs of nationalities must be viewed as a long-term task of all nationalities; ethnical leaders must be encouraged and trained to participate in the cause of cooperation and coexistence of all nationalities. Furthermore, the building of a system of national legal autonomy must be fastened under which there are laws to abide by, and illegal deeds be severely punished. Meanwhile, it is equally important that special attention must be paid to combining west-opening-and-development with the perfection and improvement of national regional autonomy, as it is not only strategic in China' s development in the new century, but also significant for the Communist Party in dealing with the problems relating to China' s nationalities and guaranteeing the implementation of the national policy. It is also equally vital to relate the implementation of national regional autonomy system to China' s entering the WTO, so a more opening-up and competent Inner Mongolia is able to "walk out" to communicate and corporate with the whole world. Finally, the perfection and complementation of national regional autonomy must be combined with the building of harmonious socialist country in near future.
