As a typical huge developing country, its capital problem is that how to surpass the developed countries and realize modernization. Neither the optimistic theory on the advantage of development from rear nor the pessimistic one of the disadvantage of this, hasn't give a good answer to the centenary baffling problem.Based on the critically inheritance of forefathers' research accomplishments, Marx drew the great conclusion that surpassing will be the general social law as long as history changes to global history. He pointed out that history changing to world history is a complex but inexorable process that productive force and production relations of capitalism break through national regions and expand to the world, with international communication generalizes. As the mode of production of capitalism took place in the global scope, its contradictions also got a global feature. Outside the mode, there are many other national modes of production with special features, so they must conflict to that of capitalism. As a result, this double movement of contradictions refers the possibility for developing countries' surpassing. As totality, diversity and surpassing have become the fundamental features of world history, Marx had answered the question in theory that whether China can surpass those developed countries. As a special huge developing country, China can surpass those developed countries in reality, if it insists on the principles of opening, absorbing, creation and sustainable development.
