On The Value Of Ideological And Political Education

The value of ideological and political education refers to an objective relation which is built up in the activity of practicing and recognizing this education. In this kind of relation, the objective satisfy certain needs of the subjective with its attributes and function. The nature of this value lies in the satisfaction of the object to the subject displayed in the activity of making use of its attributes and functions of the former by the latter in order to get promotion and development.The subject and the object are the most basic essential factors in the structure of this value. To recognize these factors, we mainly begin from three aspects: one is inquiry into their connotation, with main stress on the concept inferential reasoning; Two, analysis of their extension is made mainly by fact inspection; Three is the thorough analysis of the most related content (the need of subject and the attribute of object) elected by putting them back into the value relations.According to the different levels of subject, the value of logical and political education can be divided into social value, collective value and individual value. We can adopt two new points of view o research social value: firstly, the supposed value of ideological and political education can be counter-viewed from the social development goal (this education should ensure the realization of harmonious society); secondly, the more value can be discovered by examining the social deep drive power (this education is one of impetuses). In our lives, Concrete activities of ideological and political education are often carried in certain collective such as company, school, and dwelling community. The collective value of this education mainly lies in its insurance of the realization of collective goals, its aidance in collective building and management, its promotion of collective solidarity, and its regulation of collective mentality and conduct. Individual value of this education refers to its advantageous attribute to the survival and development of individuals. Undoubtly, the thorough embodiment and end-result of individual value lies in individuals' all-round development. Specifically, the individual value lies in its instilment of scientific theory, guidance of politics direction, molding personality of subject nature, perfection of individual morality, culturing modern talents, inspiring creativity, regulation of individual conduct and aidance of realizing life value.The realization is the goal and end-result of the value of ideological and political education is the logical foothold of researches of meaning, basic factors and content. It is impossible to recognize how to realize the value effectively without researches of the realization condition, process, approach and rules. To research the realization condition, the should-be condition and development tendency of those factors such as subject, object, intermediary and environment which are advantageous to realize the value should be probed into first.
