Research On Review The Chinese Communist Party's Policy Toward Taiwan

Taiwan issue is left over by China's War of Liberation, and it is an internal affairs. After the foundation of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Communist Party made every effort and exploration to solve this issue. This thesis analyzes the Chinese Communist Party's policy toward Taiwan from the angle of the policy's evolution. Through reviewing each policy's shaping, implementing and the coming effects, we hope to better comprehend the Chinese Communist Party's policy trend.On the eve of building up People's Republic of China, in order to conduct the task of People's Liberation War to the very end, the first generation leaders of the C.P.C. with Mao Zedong as their leader put forward the policy of liberating Taiwan by force. In the middle of the 20th century, with the great changes of the situations abroad and at home, the central community of the communist party posed the policy of try to liberate Taiwan by force on time.On the eve of sixties, Mao Zedong carried a lot of ides about Taiwan'regress problem, Zhou Enlai summed up these ideas, posed one guiding principle and four contents. From the eighties, on the basis of changed world and civil situation, the second generation of CPC's leading nucleus put forward the policy of Peaceful reunification, one country and two systems. In the middle of nineties, the third generation leaders with Jiang Zemin as their leader enriched the content of the Peaceful reunification, one country and two systems, issued the Eight policies.Entering the 21 century, there appeared new circumstances, the independence of Taiwan movement is upgrading, people of Taiwan's conception toward country has changed, the international force are interfering Taiwan issue. Under these circumstances, Hu Jintao, who represents the new generation of leading nucleus of the central authorities, put forward four recommendations. But also the new generation of leading nucleus of the central authorities strengthens to oppose independence of Taiwan, and makes to enter the new stage of opposing the independence of Taiwan with law.Although every generation of CPC's leading nucleus of the central authorities put forward a series of policies varied with time and circumstances, the spirit of these policies comes down in one continuous line, that are on the premise of the firmness of'one China'principle, we try our best to realize the mainland's peaceful reunification.
