| It has been proved for a long time by the practicing of using fire that the fire could perform good function by following the mankind's will as well as bring catastrophes to human society if out of control。 For the sake of the security of human itself, the control of fire must be strengthened and the fight again fire must be efficient, so fire protection administration (消防管ç†) has come into being in response to the request of development of the society。 Nowadays the exploring of efficient way of preventing the occurrence of fire disaster, and the ways of fire protection administration which can meet the need of social and economical development are in exertion all over the world。 But in our country the fire protection administration which was built under the condition of planned economy obviously failed to fulfill the demanding of marketing economy especially after entering WTO。 The development of municipal fire protection administration lagged of the developing of the city and frequently occurred fire disasters。 To settle the new situation, a set of fire protection administration which is suitable to our country must be stipulated。This essay introduced the formation and status quo of fire protection supervision now in practicing。 Considering the practical work, the following defects were presented: imperfection of 《fire protection law》 and the fire protection legislation system couldn't fulfill the demanding of marketing economy especially after entering WTO。 The confusion of specification and the responsibility of local fire protection agency were also the reason of lagging off, the scarcity of fire protection workers and the relatively poor quality of them also contributed a part of the problem。 By analyzing the reasons , learning the successful experiences of developed countries, the reform of fire protection administration should adopt the following principals: setup sound fire protection legislation system, change the pattern and range of fire protection...
