With the development of social economy, professional associations are flourishing and becoming an indispensable part in people's daily life. They not only play a vital role in social development but grow up into an important topic in the administrative law research. This paper takes the autonomy power of professional association, core content of professional association, as the research object. It demonstrates theoretically the problems related to the autonomy and autonomy power of professional association, and, at the same time, analyzes the current situation of our country's professional association autonomy. It is affirmed in the paper that, on one hand, the professional association should be endowed with a main body status of administrative law, which can further regularize the execution of the autonomy power of professional association and protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in the professional association; on the other hand, the relationship between the power of professional association's autonomy and that of administration should be made clear, which is a guarantee for the autonomy power of professional association to be carried out. The first part of the paper is devoted to discussing the definition, characteristics and necessity of the autonomy power of professional association based on the analyzing of the meaning of autonomy. The second part centers on the source, character, characteristics and content of the autonomy power of professional association, which will work as a base for the overall comprehension of the autonomy power of professional association. The third part demonstrates the current situation of accomplishment of professional association's autonomy power in our country, and the fourth part is concerning the criteria and regulations for the autonomy power of professional association within the administrative law.
