The Study On The Police's Job Satisfaction And Influential Factors

The study on degree of job satisfaction facilitates to improve the management of the organization. The job of police is full with high excitation and high risk. In our country, the study on the police' s job satisfaction is rare and is focused on the characterized or correlated data of the police' s psychological health. The study focuses on discussing the structure and factors of police' s job satisfaction which is expected to help improve the police' s psychological health and facilitate to the management.The study works out a questionnaire, which concerns job satisfaction of police with literature reviews and police's interviews as its foundation. Then the study investigate the situation of 5005 police and analyze the structure of questionnaire and police' s satisfaction to work with some effective data. Then interview many police once more on some specific topics. The author puts forward corresponding suggestions and consults for police' s management according to the investigation results.The study comes to the following conclusions: 1. The job satisfaction of police contains 9 factors, including heart support, future of work, meaning of job, future of job, job nature, job stress, social support and leader' s support. 2. the job satisfaction of police is beyond the medium level, among them, the police' s satisfaction to heart support is in highest level, on the other hand, the satisfaction to pressure is in lowest level. 3. The influence of different gender to police' s satisfaction are not obvious, the female police' s satisfaction to work is higher than that of male police. At the same time, the degree of satisfaction varies with the different educational background and different kind of way to join the police. The leaders express different satisfaction with the other.
