Generally to say, nature reserve is the area which is according to the law to protect the wild animals and plants, the ecosystem, the geological construction and the nature syntheses including the water source. In this area, human beings'activities are restricted in some degree so that it could maintain nature status. Nature reserve not only is a nature museum and a gene bank, but also plays a main force to protect the environmental security. Nature reserve is a valuable gift from nature to our human beings. It is necessary for the maintenance of biological diversity, and crucial for the support of human and nonhuman life. During the early time of human history, developers exploited natural resources with virtually no restriction. Consequently, the nation got the resources that it needed, and the economy strengthened, but the environment frequently suffered considerable damage. Later, some people were begun to argue that the consequences of such way to exploit nature resources were becoming intolerable. They called for legal and economical measures to conserve natural resources and present national treasures. Our country's nature reserve is different from the national park or the protected area in foreign countries, which has different protecting contents and management system. Besides, the classification of our country's nature reserve, the zoning management, the management system and the legal system on nature reserve once made great efforts to nature reserve's construction and development, while compared with the standard of classification and the related system of the foreign countries and the international organization, there're lots of improvements need to be done. To sum up, building an integrative and effective nature reserve management system scientifically is the way to strengthen the service obligation for protecting nature resources, and to implement sustainable development. Finally, this thesis analysis our country's legislation in nature reserves, and makes some suggestions to the arising problems.
