Study On The Improvement And Perfection Of The Grass-rooted Democracy In The Villages In The New Situation

The sparks of the Chinese grass-rooted democracy in the villages have sped throughout the country since 1980s.From its birth the Chinese Communist Party and the government has given its full support and protection, continuously improving it. To today, the popularity and development of the village democracy has achieved splendid fruits. Meanwhile in the critical period at the beginning of the grass-rooted democracy in the village, meet serious obstacles; facing various choices, if we could choose the correct direction .the development of the village democracy could enter into a new stage. Otherwise, we could embrace the failure, so, the article is divided into four sectors. The first sector is to introduce the contents of the development of the village democracy in a broader view; the establishment of the harmonious society as well as the substantial progress in the reform the political system and the strong need of the village democracy. In the second sector, the author first elaborates the splendid fruits of the development of the village democracy, and then review the problems and the emerging issues in the course of the development of the grass-rooted democracy, finally explaining the roots these problems. In the 3^rd sector, the author stresses on the several far-sighted issues in the development of the village democracy. Prospecting the future fate of the grass-rooted election in the villages, the last part particularizing the relationships between the existence development of the non-governmental political organizations in the Chinese villages and the development of the village democracy.
