Research On Role Transformation From Youth Peasant Worker To Urban-Citizen

The role transformation from youth peasant worker to urban-citizen is a process and status which youth peasant are working and living in city and gradually transferring into urban-citizen role. It has important meanings to promote them role transformation, as insuring the society stable, developing between urban and rural in step, and progressing smoothly of urbanization and social modernization.Based on the investigation of youth peasant worker and urban-citizen in Suzhou city, through studying the field, the cultural heritage method and interview method, made use of the role theory, author drew the conclusion as followed: the youth peasant worker in this research has faintness role cognition, explicit ego expectation, active role study, the urban-citizen approving the role transformation may sorrow. In order to promoting role transformation from youth peasant worker to citizen role, the youth peasant worker should carry on a role adjustment actively, in order to completing a role transformation as soon as possible. The government should provide policy support in the meantime, so as to promoting the peasant who go into the city enjoy city life.
